So what equipment might you need for video conferencing and webinars?
Typically, for many users of webinars whether you are an entrepreneur, small business owner, coach or teacher, unless you plan to stream a seminar or conference event in real time , you really don’t need much more than the equipment found built-in to many modern-day desktop and laptop computers. You’ll also need access to Public Internet as your bridge to the outside world.
Certainly we found that most higher cost computers and laptops like Apple computers, will have good quality webcam and microphone equipment already built-in.
However, if you are doing a talking heads style webinar, perhaps standing some distance away from the video conference bridge, microphone & video equipment, then you’ll probably need some additional peripheral equipment.
For those however content to simply present their webinar from their desk with just a webcam and perhaps sharing of their desktop computer, then you should find most Apple computers for example, produce good quality audio and visual webinar presentations.
